Guaranteed Treatment Efficiency

PRIMELOS equipment provides advanced treatment of domestic wastewater to meet strict discharge standards for fishery water bodies. Biological oxidation technology enables the removal of organic compounds and biogenic elements without the use of aggressive chemicals.

Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD)
Before treatment: 300 mg/L
After treatment: 3 mg/L

Complete oxidation of organic contaminants by activated sludge. The indicator is reduced to a level at which the water becomes safe for aquatic ecosystems.
Suspended Solids
Before treatment: 350 mg/L
After treatment: 3 mg/L

Removal of insoluble impurities and bacterial activity by-products. The result is clear process water without turbidity or sediment.
Ammonium Nitrogen
After treatment: reduced to 0.39 mg/L

Efficient nitrification of wastewater. The conversion of nitrogen compounds prevents toxic effects on aquatic flora and fauna.
Phosphates
After treatment: reduced to 0.2 mg/L

Reduction of phosphorus concentration to minimal levels. This eliminates the risk of eutrophication (“water blooming”) in receiving water bodies.

Prices are indicated for standard PRIMELOS-BIO biological wastewater treatment plants. The treatment process includes: primary settling chamber, anaerobic zone with attached-growth media block, first-stage aeration tank with fine-bubble aeration, second-stage aeration tank with biological media and aeration, secondary clarifier with airlift system, activated sludge recirculation, and treated water discharge pump. The tank is manufactured from sheet polypropylene for underground installation. Prices do not include delivery, installation, riser extensions, insulation, anchoring, UV disinfection, advanced control cabinet configuration, or project-specific engineering requirements. Final pricing is provided after consultation with a project manager.

Primary Settling Chamber (First Chamber)
Wastewater enters the chamber either by gravity flow or under pressure. Under the influence of gravity, large suspended particles (sand, small debris, fibers) settle to the bottom, while heavy organic solids partially sediment and floating substances (fats, oils) accumulate on the surface.
Anaerobic Zone with Attached Growth Media and Low-Intensity Coarse-Bubble Aeration System (Second Chamber)
  • Under limited oxygen conditions, anaerobic microorganisms attached to the media develop.
  • Low-intensity coarse-bubble aeration (minimal air supply) creates microaerobic conditions that support denitrification (reduction of nitrates to gaseous nitrogen).
  • Microorganisms break down complex organic compounds into simpler substances.
  • Partial phosphorus removal occurs through its incorporation into bacterial biomass.
First-Stage Aeration Tank with Fine-Bubble Aeration System (Third Chamber)
  • Fine-bubble aeration ensures uniform oxygen saturation of the water and keeps activated sludge suspended.
  • Aerobic bacteria (within the activated sludge) actively oxidize organic pollutants.
  • Nitrification takes place — oxidation of ammonium nitrogen into nitrates.
Second-Stage Aeration Tank with Attached Growth Media and Low-Intensity Fine-Bubble Aeration System (Fourth Chamber)
  • A biofilm of microorganisms forms on the media, enhancing the performance of activated sludge.
  • Low-intensity fine-bubble aeration maintains aerobic conditions without intensive mixing, promoting the development of specialized bacterial groups.
  • Further oxidation of residual organic pollutants occurs.
  • Additional oxidation of ammonium and nitrite compounds takes place.
  • The treatment process becomes more stable and resistant to load fluctuations.
Settling Chamber with Airlifts for Excess Sludge and Sediment Removal, Treated Water Pump, and UV Disinfection Unit (Fifth Chamber)
  • Поток замедляется, и активный ил оседает на дно.
  • Эрлифты перекачивают избыточный активный ил и осадок: часть возвращается в предыдущие камеры (рециркуляция), часть удаляется на утилизацию.
  • Очищенная вода поднимается в верхнюю часть камеры.
